Our Father, Who art in heaven

Hallowed be Thy Name;

Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us;

and lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

*****

Hail Mary, Full Of Grace,

The Lord Is With Thee.

Blessed Art Thou Among Women,

And Blessed Is The Fruit Of Thy Womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother Of God,

Pray For Us Sinners,

Now And At The Hour Of Our Death.

Amen.

*****

Glory Be To The Father, And To The Son,

And To The Holy Spirit.

As It Was In The Beginning Is Now,

And Ever Shall Be, World Without End.

Amen.

*****

Holy Mother! pierce me through,

In my heart each wound renew

of my Savior crucified:

The Stations of The Cross prayer is made up of fourteen individual Stations. This beautiful spiritual pilgrimage can be prayed at any time but is especially relevant during the season of Lent, particularly Good Friday. The Stations of the Cross devotion is also referred to as the Way of The Cross. They are a series of fourteen pictures, paintings or carvings that portray the events along Christ's journey in his final hours from his condemnation by Pontias Pilate to his body being laid in the tomb.

The Stations of The Cross - Step Twelve

What is a station? Each Individual Station is made up of the Lordís or Our Father Prayer, followed by the Hail Mary, Glory Be to the Father prayer and a verse from the Stabat Mater Prayer. The Stabat Mater prayer is often recited or sung in Latin or English. Before the prayers are said, the Station is announced and the following verse is recited:

Leader: We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.

All: Because by your holy cross; you have redeemed the world.
